A few weeks ago I relocated my camera trap(*) to another place on my property where the deer have been hanging out.

* A camera trap is a motion activated digital camera that works day or night and also has a video setting. The flash works out to 50' at night.

We did the same at my mom's house when we visited. She had the deer eating all her plants and flowers. Sure enough, the camera caught them eating!

Great pictures by the way...

They do have several uses for sure. I lent mine to a friend in Tacoma and he caught his neighbor's dog getting into his garbage can at night. He was able to show proof instead of just accuse him.

This is our resident coyote I got a pic of several times over the last two years. She most likely has a den somewhere on our place since she has been hanging around for a long time here.

I just have to put out some butcher bones and it's a guaranteed photo each night.

The humming birds are back now so I am going to see if I get get some close ups. I'll mount the camera a couple feet from one of our feeders.

WAY cool! thank you so much for taking the time to share with us. I am most impressed with that contraption!

Isn't it great to live with wildlife as a natural part of our days and nights? I love it!

I've been listening to the coyotes the last couple nights. haunting. Mine are much scruffier than yours though. Love the pics.
