Yay! I hope it brings you some relief! I had my seventh set today. Ativan or Benadryl make it a lot more comfortable.

Re: Botox Approved!
Had my first round of Botox on Friday, and other than my usual headache and some injection site soreness, I am doing OK.
Thanks for the advice to take Benadryl, as it kept me from swearing at the neuro during the forehead injections, although my toes did curl to the point of foot cramps.
I am hopeful that this treatment will give me some pain free days in the very near future.

Botox
Haven't noticed any improvement yet. Had to go to NP yesterday for rescue meds (Demerol, Toradol, phenergan and dexamethasone), and have a mild h/a today.

Botox
hope it starts to work soon.
I was told it might take a while to take effect. I have only had one set of injections so far. It helped for a few weeks but I'm told it might be better next time so not to give up. has anyone else been told this? Don't have a date yet for the next lot though.
regards Di

Re: Botox Approved!
It usually doesn't help me much until five to seven weeks out...on average. It works for a few weeks at that point. However, after a couple of weeks, it seems to help my rescue meds work better and more quickly. I have heard that others have had much quicker relief though. Sorry your had to go to your NP.
