I know this is not about migraines but it is. I have been searching and searching and it is causing me migraines so I thought maybe to ask my friends here for help. We are looking for a answering machine(can be alone or come with phones) that you can set it for differant messages at differant times. Like set it for when Lily's buisness is open say 8am to 6pm -- then it will change to a differant message that says that we are closed at 6pm. Have been to BestBuy- Radio Shack and so on. Have found 1 system but it was over $300 and was told it is very hard to set. Would take me about 1 hour to program. It was on ebay and their feedback was so so. So there has to be something somewhere that is less than that and something I can set.

If not that was told at Radio Shack they thought there was a system that we could use 2 differant answering machines and just flip a switch between the two. I have looked on the net several times but being on to long gets my head going. So would be so thankful for any help or ideas on something. We at times get calls for grooms after 10pm. We got 3 calls on Christmas. Thanks Billy

The easiest way would be to use the voicemail service from the phone company for the "during business hours" message and have a standalone machine that you can turn on and off when you leave for the night/come in with the second/after hours message. Nowadays (at least in IL where I live, the voicemail comes standard with phone service). You can set the machine to one ring and the oicemail to 3 or 4 that way whenever the machine is on it will default right to that.

Hope that makes sense.

Billy,

I will ask my hubby as that is a big part of his business.

Also, they often have used phone systems that they take out of businesses when they put new ones in.

Anyway, I will ask if he has any ideas for you.

Hope you are doing well.

I agree with a previous poster. Why not call your telephone provider and see if they have the ability to handle this through their voicemail system?

It's good to "see" you, by the way. How are the girls and Liliana doing?
