The number of employees doesn't matter Charlotte. My mom had to go on it with my brother and the place she was working had like 30. Check into it.

I only have nine full time employees. I'll check in to it though.

Just helped a friend get an FMLA leave............unfortunately you are only an “eligible” employee if your employer employs 50 or more employees within 75 miles of the worksite. FMLA is a great resource but for those of us who work for ourselves or for small companies we are out of luck!

hi, i feel so bad for you. i hope you are feeling better.

can you handle ginger? i have been eating candied ginger, gin-gins candy for about 2 yrs now. i take it if i feel semi bad and am worried about getting nauseus and when i am already nauseus.

also for the worst M. i have a cream that some pharmacies can make. its a compound cream containing atavan, benedryl, haldol and reglan. i was told that it is used in hospice care. i spread it on my wrists. it is made to absorb into your skin.

i really was glad to get it. once i was already vomiting and i took it and stopped vomiting.

the only thing "bad" about it is you must make sure when you have any medical appt er visit etc. that the staff understand that it is a compound cream and that you are not taking atavan and haldol esp. because those are heavy duty meds. and the er staff will treat you with suspicion. just an fyi.

Today I kept a big bottle of Ginger ale by my desk and that seemed to help some.

Does that compound have a name? Do I need a script to get it?

Right now it's the constant nausea that is really getting me down. Suppositories don't seem to work and once I upchuck my pain meds....ugh.

yes you do need a script for that cream. probably because of the haldol and atavan. i am searching in earnest for my container.

i think big box stores with pharmacies carry and make compound creams more often than my local pharmacy. do you have "hometown pharmacy" stores near you. i think they are a chain. anyways one here in a city near me makes mine.

will look for my script or receipts to tell you the name of it.

i remember the suppositories too. i was so shocked to use something like that to end the vomiting.

the candy i got at a target store is called "ginger chews" by the ginger people. cute packaging.

i also eat ginger slices that are crystalized. made by prairie pines a bulk food store in gleason wi (715)873-4840.

got to go will get back to you about the name etc. of the "abhr"cream.

I checked at my Target today and they never heard ofnGinger Chews. Theyntold me to check our local GNC for something similar.

I notcied yesterday thatnthe nausea increased whenever I ate anything. Gall bladder? In fact I went all day with no nausea until I ate a cheese quesdilla, then blammo...

Charlotte, I just saw your post and I can't imagine going through what you did. That hurts just reading about it.
