What ethnical group do you belong to?

Only ever had tiny nose bleeds before my periods....my mom had it too and one of my daughters.
BUT they are very very slight.

I'm 100% English. Blue eyes, blonde, very pale skin. Actually I think that there might be a link to skin colour from one perspective (more so historically than now we spend so much time indoors?), which is vitamin D production and levels. Low vitamin D is linked to pain conditions and migraine. Diet would also play a part too, especially in some cultures that don't have a lot of dairy. It's too big a theory to test out here though, but interesting that a lot of us have European ancestry.

I'm short sighted (can't see objects at a distance all that well!) and wear contacts.

There were, one or more, threads about migraines and nosebleeds on the old forum.

While not every nosebleed occurs with a headache, and not every headache is asscociated with a nosebleed; the two occur together frequently enough that I have observed that there might be some sort of connection between the two.

One possibility is that they might share a trigger, such as dehydration.

I am Jewish and of eastern European descent - Russia, Poland and Romania.

Now, I do know that my aunt on the maternal side does have migraines and perhaps her/my mother's mom had them too, although they didn't call them migraines back then, just sick headaches.
