Blood group and personality

Post  Senna on Tue Apr 20, 2010 6:37 am

I have heard that in Japan the blood group and personality are a big issue over there.
It is all treated very seriously specially, when dating.

I am not sure that I believe in any of this very much, however if anyone has any comments on this subject it would be interesting to hear.

What interests me more is the question if we come from any on blood group, here, I wonder if migraine is more likely to occur in any specific group, and less in others (not that we have any influence over this anyway).

For example I am in blood group 0.
I onder what groups do other people belong.

Eating according to your blood type is solid science and many people have benefited. It is interesting how so many spouses/partners end up having the same blood type. The different blood types should even exercise differently.

FWIW, the blood on the Shroud of Turin is AB. Type AB can only be traced back 1200 years. Which is what the carbon dating shows also on the cloth. But that is a controversial subject to some.

I am O- also. O mean "Original", Neanderthal with the hyper aggressive immune system and higher acid level digestive tract. The things that allowed humans to survive eating scavenged meat and not too many fruit/veggies.

Interesting stuff to read about.

Ditto Alli on both counts.

Did you know that in England the only way to find out your blood group is to give blood or have a baby....
How absurd is that??

AB and B are much less common blood types. It will be interesting to see if any of them are also mig patients.

O is the most common being the "O"riginal and A is the second "A"grarian. Agrarian come into play when humans started growing crops and introducing more produce into their diet. Their bodies utilize plant material better then O's do.

It's been discovered that some cancer patients blood type will change in the end stages. The theory is that it's the body's last ditch effort to fight it.

My wife, daughter and I are all O- but personality wise we are very different.

I have no idea. I donated blood to be stored for my own surgery before, but if they typed it, they didn't tell me. I had such horrendous migraines from the donations, I didn't dare try to donate for the general population. I feel bad because it's something I believe in strongly. Maybe I'll try again.

Home blood type test kits are only $10. I am not sure if they can ship them outside the US though.

So, far it seems we are mostly either bg O or A , but this is a small sample.

Brenda, it is extremely important to know you blood group, since in case of any serious accident, or emergency when you might need an urgent blood transfusion, there might not be time to do the testing.

I was under impression that we are all told since childhood what blood group we are, and this is how I knew mine. I was always told: you must remember you are blood group O.
It will be interesting to know what group you are - it is definitely worth testing, as it might save your life in emergency.
