Not sure if my other post went through, it's taking me a while to get the hang of this new forum, not like the rest of you, you don't seem to have had any trouble, must be
my age. I'm trying to figure out how to post a picture, help please!

What type of picture would you like to post? An avatar or one in a message? (an avatar is the one you see every time you post, like the one of my daughter on the right Very Happy )

I'm going to guess you'd like an avatar of yourself.

Go on to click "Profile" on the top bar where you see Migraine Page, Old Forum, Home, Calender, ect.
In light blue, you'll see a series of tabs. One of those tabs will say avatar. Click on that.
You'll be uploading a picture from your computer, so click on the browse button in grey.
Everyones computers and files are different so I can't help you much from here,
but you just need to find your picture that you want to use.
When you find that picture, click on it, then click open in the bottom right hand corner.
That window will close out.
You are back to the editing your profile screen. At the bottom middle of the page it has a button
saying save. Just click that, and you have just posted your picture.

Hope these instructions work. If you need any other help, just let me know and I'll try my best. Smile

I am going to guess a "regular" means Ruth simply wants to post a piccie in a message.

Ruth, - in the icons above the message window, just as you type, there are two for posting images- one with the text like image and one without.
If you move your browser over the icons anyway their explanations pop up - try clicking on the one that says "Host an image" - and follow the instructions - they are very easy.
First find the file you want, then click on the circle that say URL and choose the URL you want and copy it.
Try again, and again until you get it right Very Happy
It took me awhile to get it right, lol

Don't get flustered, by clicking on the icon again the Image window will disappear.

Good luck Ruth!

I will try posting a picture soon, thanks for explaining it to me, I've had a bad time with migraines lately (and I don't get too many bad ones any more) and can't spend much time on the computer. I'm wondering if it's the estrogen I just started taking that's causing them?
