NF-kB. and migraine.
I have read that this is a protein complex.
It has been implicated in auto immune diseases, and there is a suggestion it might have a bearing on migraine too.
Seems to be to do with substance P and inflammation.
Now I am not good at reading tech. stuff, my concentration is crap.
But does anyone else know anything about this please, or feel like looking it up.
I always think everything is worth a cursory glance.
~Thanks,

Is it that no one has heard of this...I hadn't.
It is real and has quite a part to play in several problems.

I've heard of it but in relation to cancer. There's researchers looking at the effects of it as a marker for cancer where I am employed.

Re: NF-kB. and migraine.
NF-kB is a protein involved in inflammation. It seems to be activated during a migraine attack, but it's not obvious whether it can safely be inhibited to treat migraine. It's pretty far down my list of plausible drug targets, since it has so many effects that are probably important for injury response.
