Salon Pas patches
I've had some mild relief from the use of SalonPas Patches. Apparently, they have been used in Japan for more than 50 years. The patch is applied to your painful spots (mine are beside my right eye, and the inside of my right eyebrow.) If you feel along the bone above the eye, you will find the supraorbital foramen -- basically a small indentation in the bone. I put one patch on my upper eyelid, over the foramen and onto my forehead. This has been the most effective area for me.
The patches are OTC and about $6 per package of 40. I cut the patches in half, so I get double duty. They contain camphor, menthol and methyl salicitate (related to aspirin, so don't use if you're allergic).
This is the best replacement I have found for HeadOn, which ceased production when their patent ran out.
Hope this can help someone have a better day.
