A new "migraine surgery" if botox worked then this should work

Hello everyone, I haven't posted in a while so I'm not sure if this was discussed (I did a quick search and didn't see any) but my mother who lives in Maine sent me a print copy of an article from Down East magazine about Dr. David Branch who performs a migraine surgery. Apparently if Botox works (I guess they test this first) then the surgery should be very helpful. Dr Branch trained with Bahman Guyuron the Dr who pioneered this procedure. He wanted to figure out why Botox helped some migrain sufferers.
