numbness/pins and needles
Just wondering how common this is, and what sort of patterns folks tend to experience?
mine are mostly hands and feet, usually bilateral. last from minutes to hours

I had that initially down my left arm. It was due to a bulging disk in my neck. It went away with treatment. Only the migraines remain.

Re: numbness/pins and needles
I get numbness as one of my migraine prodrome/aura symptoms. It usually involves my lower lip on the left side, my tongue and can travel down my throat. It is one of my least irritating symptom but it is the one that seems to hang around the longest. L

It seems to be fairly common in those with complicated migraine. But, it is also a symptom of gluten ataxia which runs in my family. It is a bizzarre reaction to gluten that causes stroke and MS like symptoms.
Does the numbness persist?

Re: numbness/pins and needles
I used to have them on the left side of my body before and during the migraine until I did physic therapy, they are much better and only have them sometimes on my feet(but that might be a side effect of amitryptiline, I've read about it).
I have mixed migraines.
