Transformed migraines

Has anyone gone from the occasional migraine to transformed daily migraine and were they ever given a cause as to why? I've been struggling since last November with this and no doctor can give me a definitive answer.

I think the majority of people on this site are suffering with the transformation to chronic migraine. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone in the medical profession really understands why this happens. There is some literature out there that medication overuse can fuel the transformation to chronicity and it might be worth trying a medication holiday to see if you get any relief. Sadly I think science as a whole is really in the dark when it comes to the central nervous system.
