Gepants...a new migraine treatment...

So I was just reading this journal article and came across a reference to 'gepants'. Never heard of em. I'm gonna go digging. Have you guys heard of em?

SUMMARY
That vasodilatation is an important factor in
migraine is demonstrated by the fact that the most
widely used migraine rescue medications, the ergots
and the triptans, and the most promising of the newer
drugs, the gepants, possess one significant common
denominator: they all potently constrict abnormally
dilated extracranial arteries while simultaneously

Dr Sultaneh - thank you so much for your work creating surgical cures for migraine sufferers and discovering the mechanical causes of this horrible pain. Your work is so valuable to us who suffer from migraine. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have your life's work go unacknowledged, though. I am really sorry to hear that your work has not been acknowledged properly. But Shevel's is only one paper - perhaps there are other papers which do acknowledge your work? Shevel has acknowledged a bunch of research that didn't have as much statistical power as your study which had 1224 patients . Perhaps you can publish some findings in one of these journals? I didn't have access to those links so I couldn't read the ones you posted.

Also Dr Ali, when you cut those arteries, why doesn't it make parts of the face die? Do these blood supplies grow back or something?
