GRRRR - Blue Cross
my insurance company is still spouting the "investigational" procedure crap for botox for migraines and has denied it ....so far. I figure I have two appeals and an external review coming to me before i'm done.

I thought we were past that. Mine was spouting that five years ago. I guess it will take awhile for the insurance to agree with the FDA.
I hope your appeal goes through.

Re: GRRRR - Blue Cross
I am on a private Blue Cross policy and they won't cover a single thing related to migraines. EG if a dentist prescribes me pain pills he has to put that they are for my teeth on the prescription and I have to mail it in. They will assume it's for migraines and not cover it.
Unfortunately as far as private plans go here, they have the best coverage for everything else.

Het tdu, I have a private bcbs plan and they've been good so far about covering tho they are miserly with the imitrex. Mine is a PPO. Wonder if that makes a difference.
