Party for 1

So....my most excellend hubby took my boys on a spur of the moment 2 night 3 day mini-vaca to an indoor waterpark. I couldn't join them, as my Migraines and my dads recent medical problems have used up all of my paid days off (and then some )

So tonight I decided instead of going to bed super early and missing them, I would order a Domino's pizza (yes at 830 pm) and pop in a movie and stay up a lil late. A party for one!!! Lol. I'm such a dork!

Ok...gotta run. Pizza man should be here any minute!!

Sounds marvelous! I know you enjoyed yourself rather than moping about. Good for you!

Sometimes those are the best parties. I seem to like my own company above everyone elses!

Good for you! It's great that you decided to do something fun for yourself instead of feeling lonely. Bonus is that you don't have to worry about what movie anyone else wants to watch. LOL

I imagine that with two kids a little quiet time would hit the spot! I know a weekend off would be just what the Dr. ordered for me!!! I'd get a massage. Go eat some sushi, maybe read a good book, sleep late! The pizza and a movie sounds amazing! I'll be right over!

Im glad you got to do that. Everybody needs to have some me time sometimes. One of my favorite things to do is watch movies. What did you watch? Was it a good movie?

I was trying to decide on a movie when I came across a Dr. House marathon!! The choice was then clear! I spent my night with Dominos Pizza, Coke a Cola, and Dr. House!

Then a hot bubble bath and great night sleep. It was great having some uninterupted ME time

I would so do that! I saw that Dr. House marathon on....I have only seen one, on the Bravo channel last week when I could not sleep. Now I see what everyone is talking about and would LOVE to do the whole marathon.....just need that husband taking the son thing to happen!!!

Oh boy I am in love with House. He is so hot. Mmmm.

I LOVE it when I get uninterrupted me time. I am a bit of a loner so when I can have the house to myself, yeah!! Of course when my daughter eventually moves out I may have a change of heart, but who knows.

I love marathons of my fav shows... I spent New Years Eve with my sister, daughter and niece watching the Burn Notice marathon. I love that show. House is one of my favs also.... he's so snarky!
