Kids never grow up

I shouldn't have gotten hubby a nerf gun. Everytime I enter a room I'm getting attacked. So is Steven. I feel like the Pink Panther.

However, the cat is really enjoying it!

Funny! Aren't you glad they don't grow up (most of the time, anyway)? They keep life interesting, don't they?

Is it one of those things that fires mini plungers that stick to the wall and door? I made the mistake of getting one of those once as a joke present and hubby went mad playing with it.

I don't think this one sticks to the wall, but, yes, it is a little mini plunger.

He's got Steven into it now, so at least he has someone to play with!

Too funny..we have way too many Nerf guns in the house..with my hubby and two sons I've litterally walked down the stairs with my hands over my head. Thankful that it hasn't broken anything. Nice to hear that your hubby likes them as well [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

He was particularly proud of himself yesterday. He shot it from downstairs, it went through the railing, into the loft, ricocheted off the wall and hit me in the cheek as I was on the computer.

Scared the puddin' out of me!

I had to NOT buy that mega Nerf Gun thing this year for JH as a Christmas gift.

At our previous home we had plenty of room in the backyard for it, plenty inside with vaulted ceilings and sparse furniture on purpose (for boy play!) and we had several. Both my hubby and son would go crazy with them. I hated them.

Then they came out with that big set this year, with vests and everything. JH wanted it so bad. I explained that now that we live with The Grandma's that there was just no way to play with it here. Their house is FULL to the RIM with STUFF.

It also frustrates the dog to no end! She is catching the 'bullets' in her mouth everytime and bends them!
