Rager of a migraine coming on and trying to move house! Empty Rager of a migraine coming on and trying to move house!

Hey, all,

I'm just looking for sympathy. Very Happy I can feel a really bad migraine coming on, with all the symptoms: inabilityt o focus, articulate, or form thoughs, pain with nausea, depression, etc. It hurts to move my head. I just took imitrex so I'm really hoping that reduces teh migraine.

Problem is I'm trying to pack and move house, which is hard to do and is also kind of stressful, tramatic, you name it . I am upset about moving out of the arrangement I've been in, even thoguh its a stressful environment, but I'm sad becase I've been living with my young nephew for the past 3 years and will really miss him. He's 3 and a half, so I've been there with him since he was 6 months old. I can tell he is unhappy about it too because he has been very cuddly and clingy the past few days, which he normallay isn't. It's got me really upset but its not something I can talk to my sister about. I know she and her husband want their own space to grow as a family, and I get that and understand but I'll still miss my npehew. Sad

So I think its stress migraine, emotional migraine, whatever. it still hurts like hell. And I have been packing boxes and sstuff the past 2 days and have to move this weekend. More stress, more migraines? Ugh.

Sorry for the whine, I just needed to rant. Here's hoping the migraine will basck off ot at leasst a 4 or 5! It feels like a 7 and climbing right now.

Bubbs,

Sorry you are having to deal with all this. But it sounds like you found a place to move to which is a positive. Smile I know what you mean though. Lots of stress will bring the suckers on and they seem to be worse because you are emotionally drained as well. Just hang in there - it will be over soon.

I am still looking for a roommate and one place I listed an ad, listed it wrong so people are calling thinking they are going to get a good deal on a 2 bedroom when in fact it was supposed to be a roommate listing. Felt kind of sorry for some of those that have called. And others, well they can't read. On the good side I've found that I can sell my roommates stuff that she left behind. One way to recover a bit of money.

I'm so sorry Bubbs. I would be so hard to move away from a little guy that you've been attached to for so long. I betcha your sister and BIL are going to miss having an extra set of hands around to help out.

You have my sympathy and empathy, Bubbs. Wish I was closer. I'd like try to help, although my head escalated this afternoon and I can't seem to get on top of it. Sad

I feel so bad for you having to be away from your nephew. I know how close that bond is. It was difficult for me when we moved to Montana away from all my family, especially my niece and nephews. They were young then and are all grown with families of their own now, but it seems like just yesterday.

It is good to hear that you must have found a place to move to. I hope you're able to get acquainted with your neighbors and possibly form some friendships so you have some support during the bad migraine times.

Keeping you in my prayers. Hope the imitrex kicks in so you're able to go on packing. Please take care. flower

Thanks, everyone. The m got better for a few hours, which allowed me to pack up the kitchen, but is getting worse now. I had to go out and run errands, find more supplies, etc. and that probably aggravated it. Don't want to take another imitrex as I've gone through almost a month's worth of tablets in 2 weeks Sad So I'm trying fioricet w/o codeine to see if that helps.

My moving situation can best be described as "in transition." I have a place to stay for a few months, but it's not permanent. I'm hoping it will allow me to save some $ and get some necessary repairs done to my car, though. It's more like renting a room than finding a place to live, but it's better than nothing. The worst is that I can't take my beloved cat Sad A friend is going to foster him until I can take him back, but I'll miss him. I"m used to him sitting on my lap and sleeping on my bed.
