Swaptree-- swap books, dvds etc

My daughter turned me onto this site. Swaptree.com It is a site where you list books, music, movies and games to trade. All you pay is media mail to send your swap. It is sooooo cool! I've been trading a bunch of books I don't care about for other ones I want to read. It ends up being cheaper than the used book store as media mail is so inexpensive.

My daughter and I are coordinating our overlap so we can get books we both want to read. I want to read more or hers than she wants of mine as SciFi and mysteries are not her thing.

If you have a bunch of stuff sitting around that you no longer want, this site is an awesome way to spring clean. I've got a ton of cd's and movies to load up this weekend. It's like shopping without really spending any money!

I came home yesterday to three books from my swaptree trades. It's like my birthday everytime I get a package! So I have plenty to read while I wait for these migraines to let up.

I have always been a reader.

I can never bring myself to pay bookstore prices though.

For the last few years I have been ordering from Alibris.com and 9 times out of 10 you can get great deals there.

But this deal is even better!

I am going to go there right now and check it out.

I have one suggestion......take each book you get and freeze it wrapped for at least a couple days after it arrives.

Sounds crazy weird but bedbugs are hugely on the rise right now and this simple set could help you prevent a whole lot of mess later. You never know whoe you just swapped with.
