Cymbalta, anyone?

My neuro started me on Cymbalta (60mg) to work alongside the 100 mg of Topamax that I take as a preventative. Is anyone else out there on Cymbalta for mirgraines? Success? Failure? Advice?

I tried Cymbalta. Didn't do anything for me, except weight gain. I took it for about 4 months, and when I tried to get off it, it was awful withdrawl. I thought something was terribly wrong with my head, dizzy, and I actually felt like my brain was rattling around.

But then, I can't take any pharmaceutical stuff, I get all the side affects there are.

I saw a pain specialist about 2 years ago who put me on cymbalta with my topomax. I didn't care for it. It didn't do anything for my migraines that topomax alone didn't do just fine. In other words, I did not notice anything different. And since I was/am on imitrex as well, it freaked me out to be on so many things that alter serotonin levels. I felt better once I was off of it.

I tried it last year.
I had to interrupt it after 2 months.
Migraine worsened so bad that it became daily. The day after I interrupted Cymbalta, migraine improved.
