A poem after a really bad weekend

A dear friend of mine who understands sent this to me today after a very bad weekend:

To my friend---

Tonight seems a good night for rhyming
As the day has been specially hard
To get out of bed overwhelming
Need to be always on guard

Victories each day are quite many
But the measurement is often unsure
The strength that it takes is uncanny
If only we could find a cure

But until then as the sun rises
We will try again and again
Cuz the resolve that we hold deep inside us
Is bound and determined to win
