Funny pics of my kitty

My kitty Cieran went to groomer and got a lion cut for easier maintenance. He looks so cute and so funny, I had to post the photos. Here he is!

There's one spot on his back, poor guy, that they clipped him too close! See it? I feel a little bad though, he looks kind of pathetic. But he does seem much happier, he's been sitting on my lap or relaxing on the couch all day, when he usually hids in my room.

Anyway, I thought it was good for a chuckle, you almost never see long-haired cats missing their fur!

LOL. That is one interesting haircut. I've never really seen anyone opt to shave a kitty like this! Cool though, I love the paws and chest. If I were him I'd be mad though that you left my tail so bushy!! I wonder if it gets in his peripheral vision? HEHEHE

The hair will grow quickly, and you can do a touch up, even out a bit and it won't show anymore.

Really cute. He seems to have adjusted well - some cats after getting groomed like that have contempt for the whole world and their mommies in general. I worked at a vet clinic where they would give kitties lion cuts and most were far below thrilled - felt kinda sorry for the kitty.

LOL I know, he was mad for the rest of the day, and kind of slunk around looking PO'd for a while, but then he got over it. He was fine by the evening. I did feel kind of mean. I wish I could find some "before" piccies, he was very handsome. If I do, I'll post it!

I found one from when he was still a baby and had just come back from the groomers. He's trimmed up but still has his fur. When he got older, he was actually very long haired and fluffy, but here he is:
