Side effect of Depakote?

Just started depakote yesterday and I've got really bad heartburn today. I can't remember the last time I had heartburn, and am wondering is this a side effect of the drug? I checked the info that came with the medication and it was pretty generic. Just wondering if I ate something or if I need to take stock in Tums? If it's a side effect...well this is something I can deal with if this actually helps. The extra calcium wouldn't be bad either.

Yes. Heartburn and stomach troubles are a common side effect of Depakote. The delayed release version can be more pleasant.
