aura upon aura?

Recently I seem to be having a migraine attack with aura (which is usual for me) and within two hours the same thing occurs again. Is this unusual? Does this happen to anyone else on the forum?

Hi -- this happens to me as well. I don't always get an aura, but when I do, about 50% of the time I get another one within 2 hours, followed by a sickening migraine. These "double aura" migraines do not usually result in extreme head pain, just moderate pain, but there is almost always nausea and it gets worse with movement.

Not sure why this happens or what to do about it besides the standard meds that don't even work so well.
