Nasal sprays for migraine
I came across an article that cited a very small study on capsaicin nasal spray for migraines. The study found the spray to be 72% effective for migraine in the group studied. http://practicalneurology.com/2014/05/migraine-spray-aims-to-reduce-headache-pain-with-capsaicin
I have not tried this spray and was wondering if any one here has tried it. Here is another link that speaks about triptans being available in nasal spray form which was new info to me. http://www.nyheadache.com/blog/nasal-sprays-for-migraines-are-underprescribed/ This article also mentions Stadol nasal spray which I did try a number of years ago with no benefit at all. The side effect of sedation was very strong and unwanted in my case.
