Wish we had a CHAT room here!

Hi.

I just joined a forum specific to the other medical challenges I'm currently facing, and they have a live chat option and it was GREAT! I know the old Rhonda's had one but it was a bit hidden and not used often. I'd love to log on and be able to "live chat" with some of my Migraine friends. Especially times like right now...almost midnight...family is asleep, friends most likely asleep, me...insomniac in pain and frustrated and needing to just talk it all out!

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I am still up. Here on the West Coast it is only about 9:45 PM. I should be sleeping though, because I need to get up earlier than usual, to feed some friends' dog while they are out of town.

I had a painful colposcopy, that was no more successful than your procedure. It, and two subsequent ones, had to be rescheduled for the OR under general anesthesia.

I wish that someone could teach the barbarians that their procedures are pure torture!

I think maybe 'cause I'm OLD, but I'm not good at live chat. I have to think and type to fast, plus try to keep up with what I'm doing.

It actually makes me nervous!

I would like a live chat. I feel so connected with everyone here. My problem is that I am a horrible speller. I learned many years back to post even though I cannot spell. Reason being that I was never posting because I felt intimidated because of my spelling.

With my head pain it was too much trouble to look the word up.

I am still debating on facebook. I am on my daughters a lot but have not decieded to make one of my own. I feel I will do it soon though...

How many of us would be into that? Maybe we can actually do it, but we'd have to all d.l skype or something like that. I'd be so into it because I'm great at typing and I'm a total insomniac. I'm also on the computer ALL THE TIME! Can you tell? LOL

Not to be a party poopper, rain at the parade, but old Ronda's did have a chat and it was hardly used.
But I am not saying NO to the chat, by no means, no!
Who knows maybe at this forum things would be a bit different and the chat used more frequently, indeed.

I'd be in for it. I have no idea how to use skype though. I've used plenty of chat rooms and am fine with it.

Kimsmom - As long as we can understand what you are saying, we don't care if you can spell. Emailing is a form of communicating, not a spelling bee
