Sorry, different meaning. Yuks also means laughs. In think it's probably fairly old American slang that has fallen out of favor, so that's probably why you didn't recognize it. I love potatoes, all of them. They're so easy to grow, too.

Oh yes, "Drained wops keep falling on my head.", from my favorite Halloween joke! A takeoff on the song "Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head.", from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. OK, so that's the punchline. If anyone is interested, I'll post the other part of the joke.
