TheDay After the Migraine...Any Feedback?

I need someone's help. I have now started having migraines every weekend. I have a full blow migraine on Saturdays which takes out my whole day. I sometimes need two doses of sumatriptan and then have to sleep 7 hours before i feel a little better. Then on Sunday I feel so weak, sore eyes. etc. Today I tried to go outside and rake and I felt like had a stroke!!! My fingertips started pulsating and I felt like I was going to collapse from fatigue. I have had these bad migraines for only the past few months so I am just starting to learn about the "hangover" part but these headaches really wipe me out.... Any suggestions ???? In my MRI they also found "white matter" spots which also scares me. Anyone know about this?

While I have heard of others having those white spots on an MRI, I really don't know what they mean.

What did your Doctor say about them?

So sorry that you are having so many neurological symptoms on top of the pain.

It is the pits not to be able to accomplish the things you once did.

As far as the "hangover" effect. I think that is something that is hard to explain to someone who is not in our shoes.

You know you have the pre-headache while the pain is building, you medicate and then takes sometimes a whole day to get ahold of the pain, then the "hangover" effect the day after.

Even a couple of headaches a week can screw up your entire week.
