query - searing pain across the top of my head....

Does anyone experience searing pain across the top of the head? It makes it impossible to even stand or sit. All I can do is lie down. This occurs on a regular basis. Between other headache types. Can anyone relate??

I get that too. Mine are almost exclusively one sided and the last month has been all on the left. But every now and then I get one where it feels like it will blow the top off of my head. The only thing I can do besides painkillers is an ice pack or have a massage if I can make it to the building. It makes me wonder if those are also migraines because they are so different than the other ones, but they are just as debilitating. Stupid things.
