How long to dental implants take to heal?
I'm considering getting a few dental implants to replace some teeth in my upper jaw and was wondering (approximately) how long the process would take to complete from start to finish. Also want some info about miami implants surgeon. Thanks.

Re: How long to dental implants take to heal?
I just saw your post. I have spent many years working in dental offices and implants have changed over the years. It used to be the oral surgeon would place the implant and you would have to wait for 3 months to have the implant crown placed.
Now at some places you can have the implant and crown placed the same day. I don't know a lot about the same day process, but it seems great! The original way you would get a temporary crown placed. Patients always hated the 3 month healing time til the permanent crown was placed.
You can research oral surgeons by going to the dental board of Florida site. Check for any complaints. Also check local court documents for any legal action. Word of mouth is the best tool you have. Also have a consultation, should be free, to get the feel of the DDS and staff. Find out how many implants the DDS does.
I wish I knew someone who lived in your area to refer you to. Good luck. You will be happy with the implants. If you have several teeth in a row to replace you can do a bridge or removable appliance held by the implant. Trust your gut. If you are uncomfortable go somewhere else. They are very expensive and you want the best you can find.

Consult good dentist
Implantation requires a full surgical team and healing may take three to six months.

Dental implant procedure
Well just go for dental implant specialist. He will first of all examine your jaw bone other types of allergies and your body type, depending on which your treatment will start. The whole dental implant procedure may took 6 months to 1 year, after which it will fully healed.

We should be careful about health and health should be first priority for all. I am dentist Manhattan Beach and want to suggest you to visit twice in a year for full body check up.
