I'm doing surprisingly well-not well enough to win a prize, though.

Ok, I've been wondering since I first saw this go up. Please explain to this Yankee what footy tipping is. Inquiring minds want to know.

footy tipping
It's like American football betting. In Australia instead of football there are rugby leagues and Australian football leagues. I went to many Australian football games-my team was the Sydney Swans. I was just a novice in my ability to understand and appreciate the game, but I still got a lot of enjoyment out of it even on a basic level. The men all wear shorts like the old basketball players did and they do a lot of kicking, it looked very beautiful and almost balletic to me.

I went to an Australian footy match in your country, and although I am not in the least a sports fan, this was fun - there was extremely relaxed atmosphere, people were coming and going all the time, pies were consumed in great quantities, but most of all I liked those shorts and slevless tops.
The players were so good looking! Great show. (Not that I knew what it was all aboout...) but it was fun experience all the same and when there was goal socred, there was much happy exitement. BTW I would never go to to a footbal match in UK, forget it.

So I have only just mastered the point of UK football I hadn't even begun to think about other sorts. The rules seem complicated to me. I can kick a ball in a straight line though with accuracy if that is any help. The speed of it is a bit slow though, so not very good for use in an actual game. Does anyone know how many different types of football there are in the world? It has got me wondering.
