Car insurance costs for men and for women

The car insurance costs keep rising anyway, but now we have this new bombshell here in UK.
Apparently from the next year all women's car insurance - which was always much cheaper then men's, since obviously women are much better drivers - but now the insurance premium for women is now going to be raised, by a huge ammount of about 30%!

And all this is becasue of sex equality laws, which means that we will cover the cost of all male insurance costs paying for all these bad male drivers, who cause 90% of accidents on our roads.

Once again, women loose - no matter which way you look at it, we always do.
Men on the other hand will pay 10% less. Great!

What interest me is this:
do women pay less for their car insurance then men, in your country?
Or do you pay the same?

We pay the same in Canada.

But I noticed that women's bathrooms and Outhouses! are always farther away than mens! What's up with that!?
