Do you believe in your painkillers?
This is a most interesting research: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-12480310
Do you think we can influence how well our medicines are working for us?
Can we make strong painkiller stop working, just beacause we do not belive that it will?
We all know that placebo works for some people, as it is evident in many research trials when it works just as well, as the genuine medicine.
So, can the reverse be true?
Are we resposible for our medicines being less effective, just becasue we do not believe that they will work (even if they are very powerful painkillers).
How much can we influence effectiveness of our medicines.
Is it possible to do that?
I think this is quite a new concept, to consider.
