Re: Continuous Neck pain
I had ablation done and it helped mine a lot. THe dr told me it would last 6 to 24 months. At about 20 months it started bothering me again. I am going to go back and have it repeated, I think.

ablation?
Is that where they grind off a little of the spinal facets and/or bone spurs in the spine? Or some other therapy? And can you keep having it done indefinitely?
Thanks

Re: Continuous Neck pain
It was a nerve ablation. I believe it was a radio frequency ablation. They "fried" the nerves in my neck and the pain was gone. It was amazing. I had it done under twilight sedation. Took about a week before I felt the full effects.
I had a couple of rounds of steroids with numbing agent to measure the effectiveness prior to the procedure.
