Very comprehensive review for pituitary tumor. Pituitary Specialist & Neurosurgeon went through 8 MRIs over the past 6 years.

Risk/Reward benefit is low. For now, it's stable and doesn't need to come out. Vision hasn't been effected to enough of a degree to outweight the risks of surgery. Some day, but not now.

Excellent work by the docs. Understanding, great sense of humor, and were very respectful of my input.

I can concentrate now on some heart stuff, and getting my shoulder fixed.

Glad to hear the good news. I assume it is good news. That sounded like some serious surgery. What did we ever do before the MRI?

I am glad for you Marc as this means at least for now you know where are you standing on this.
Looks like while things are not all rosy, they also are not too bad either, I hope?

hugs,
Risa

thanks everyone.

i appreciate your kind words. although it's not the best thing to have lurking, the tumor actually goes to the low priority risk now. mianna has a great comment about confidence. i am confident on the review, and thus, time to move on.

it will still be monitored with blood work and brain MRI yearly--at some point we'll move out to 2 years. we can focus on the stuff that is causing me problems now that can actually cause me to push up dasies much, much, sooner than i should.

it's good too, that the docs say come back to us anytime if you notice anything different.

I'm glad that we've got one thing at least that we don't have to worry too much about right now with you, Marc! You have so many issues that it's nice to put one on the back burner!
