The anniversary for my Dad passing away will be this Friday..Sept.10,2006..

Four years later and my heart still aches for him..I know that we will be together again when I go home to Jesus..My Dad was such a blessing to everyone who knew him..

I love and miss you Dad..

The pain never goes away. There's that special bond with my Pappo, that I'm sure you had with your Dad.

I know you still miss your Dad every day. We never get over the loss of a loved one. WE do get used to the pain of loss. Hang in there.

{{{{hugs}}}}} and prayers. It will be 15 years for my dad in October.....so often I wish I could call and ask his advice or just hear his voice.

I know how you are feeling Wendy, it's so hard to lose a parent, I still miss mine after fifteen years of them passing (within 2 years of each other), but it will be such a happy reunion one day and we have to cling to that hope and promise.

It will be 21 years on the 18th, since I lost my father. The sharp pain has worn away into a dull wince. I no longer go to the phone to call him about something. Now I just notice things that I just know would delight him had he lived to experience them.

I just realized, in 8 years, I will have spent half my life with him and half without. Scratch that. I have spent my entire life with him. The lessons he taught me and the memories I have mean my father is always with me.

It's the same for you, too, Wendy. You are the lovely woman we love partly because of the man who fathered you. I am so glad you had him in your life for you are one of the gems that shine here at Ronda's.
