extra pain from jaw problem
About 10 weeks ago I jarred my jaw eating some chiabatta bread.
The jaw is improving and has good and bad days
Now developed pain left of centre of brow bone. Same side.
This mornng my head was reasonable for once, but I opened my mouth to eat a spoonfull of cereal (not that wide)
I immediately got a pain on this spot on my eyebrow. It hurt kind of like migraine.
In a while it spread to the top of my head, just the left side, and then went into my neck.
I know we have trigger points, and this hasnt started with the jaw, its only been the last week or so.
Was just today I was so aware of the connection.
Question is, what can I do please, anyone?
It is pretty bad, dont want to try any further triptans...it isnt migraine after all.
My healer says it is a sinus point.....he could be right, and i am prone to sinus problems....
But what do I do to find out. I cant take decongestants.
I just dont need this along with everything else.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
Thanks,
Pen

Re: extra pain from jaw problem
Pen,
I'm so sorry you're suffering still. It just never seems to end, does it?
Have you tried massage to try to promote some relaxation in the muscles in your head, neck and jaw?
Also, I'll suggest it but not make a recommendation........of a chiropractor. Some people have luck with chiropractors, but I felt much worse after going to one for several sessions. Cranial-sacral therapy might help.
Hope something gives you some relief soon. Take care.
