Some nights ago, I opened my "migraine file". It contains all the tests and exams that I've done for more than 20 years.
I am a healthy person.
The worst thing that they found me after the hundreds tests and exams was low iron confused

I've been tested both for direct causes (brain tumors, malformations) and for diseases that can trigger migraine as second cause (celiac disease, diabetis, lupus, hormons, anti bodies, and other thousands things I can't recall now).

The only other important health issue that I got in my life was a thyroid goiter that was removed and which had no effect on migraine.

Apparently, I'm the healthiest person in the world. I am healthy for the science and for doctors.

So why do I feel so lousy for entire weeks and why does my head can hurt so bad to cause me vomit, dizziness and complete uncapability to think, focus, perform simple activities???

The more I suffer from migraine, the more I find it an absurd illness that seems not to exist.

Take care

We haven't tried a labotomy yet. cheers

Decapitation would make the rest of the body feel wonderful!

Our brains don't fit our head?

Angela,

When in the throws of a nasty one, I've thought about drilling holes in my head to release the pressure. I know they used to do it in medieval times but it doesn't sound quite so crazy to me any more.

Ivy - know what you mean. The only oddities in me are a lower than average body temperature and lower blood pressure and the iron tests aren't quite normal. The counts come back low but the saturation is normal. Just means that I run on a quart low normally. Smile

Haven't you been paying attention? You have to have a special MRI done while experiencing a Migraine. Then they can see the changes in activity in your brain that cause the pain or aura. Otherwise, we have a phantom health problem that doesn't exist when it comes to some MD's, insurance companies and most other people.

I am just sick and tired of being sick and tired. My current brain pain has been there for three days now and probably will be a few more. Hard to sleep, eyes burn, depressed, hate taking drugs, really need a good week.
