Migraine support group

Hi everyone,

I want to start a migraine support group in my area. I am open for any suggestions. Anybody ever done this before?

I have a place to meet. I wonder if my local newspaper would give me free space to put my time and place with the other support groups.

Any advice or wisdom out there?

here in the uk there are various support groups for migraine and the local paper give free articles written about the group, not sure how it works in the states but a great idea and certainly the way to go. best of luck!x

Your local pharmacy may let you put up an ad for it since it would not be commercial. That is a good "choke point" for mig patients. Within a month you can be sure most mig patients will be through there picking up something.

I contacted my local newspaper, and I can put it in for free! Contacted my Pastor about using the church, I have permission what ever day I want to! Cool, looks like a go. All I need now is to decide what night I want to hold it.
