Actually, I doesnt seem right to not at least respond to the nice people who wished me well.

Sadly it was not a success. In fact my husband just told me we got nothing out of it at all.
Well I got a headache from waiting so long in the hot stuff hospital, but nothing helpful.
I had some ideas, and he just said..."Yes, try that" to them all.
So a waste of time and I dont imagine I will return in 6 months.
Back to the drawing board.

To be honest I didnt have hight hopes, but I had a lot of questions which didnt really get answered.
I know one thing at least. For now, I am on my own. Ain't nobody gonna fix me, but me...
But thank goodness we have this forum where there ar so many caring and empathetic people.
Despite feeling uncomfortable from the postings of the last day or two.
When I got home I wanted to log on here. More support than the medics, in my case at least.
I shall continue to travel hopefully.

Actually, it has kind of made me stronger in a weird way.

I know now I am on my own, unless I find a neuro more suited to me, and will continue to try to discern whether my migraines are cause or effect.

i am sorry for your disappointment. i have had multiple appts. like that. as time continues to go on, i think i might be getting stronger. i used to be upset for days and know that the stress of the disappointment made my pain level increase. i think time helps in many ways, whether for reflection or new strategies. hang in there. we are all behind you.

Thank you Rose. my disappointment has been balanced somewhat by not having a migraine yesterday or today.
Doesn't it make a difference.....and also the sun is shining.

I have had 4 appointments with this man now, and he is very nice, but we have reached the end I think.
So I feel a bit empowered. Onward and upward eh....
