does anyones head ever feel normal

even when i do not have a full blown migraine i seem to allways feel pressure sometimes with sometimes without headaches,dizzyness sometimes balance issues...if i stay busy it takes my mind off of it...it would be so nice just to have a clear head with no pain...dreams we must have dreams.

Mine hurts all the time and can feel odd. I would quite like to take it off.

Yes, since I've started sleeping better I've actually had three great days! Woo hoo! No fogginess. I've been in a reading frenzy.

I woke up today with one, but I'm not so down in the dumps since I had a couple good days.

Define normal...it's been so long since anything was normal. Been waking with a lot of pain lately and meds will take the edge off for a while. Ended up taking a triptan yesterday (which I hate!) and actually was pain free for a couple of hours but then felt totally medicated. Ugh...if it's not the pain or other lovely M symptoms it's medicated fog...

I'm going to quit whining now and get a few more things accomplished. While I can anyway....

I haven't felt normal in ages. My "normal" sucks. I need the normal I had about 25 years ago! Hardly any migraines, no TN and no Fibro. Oh to be young again!

My head's not felt right in years. Some say that's nothing to do with migraine though!

There is almost always pain of some sort but, if there's not, there are other sensations of pressure or dizziness or general wooliness.

It's been close to two years since I can remember feeling "normal". That's not to say that I'm in pain every day - I have lots of fully functional days. But there are never days when I'm not aware of my head. Even if I don't have a migraine, I still get random stabs of pain and also really odd neurological sensations. Plus there's always the constant anxiety, because you never know when a good day is going to suddenly turn very, very bad. Though I'd take the worry and random odd feelings over the actual headache any day.

My head pain gets worse when the seasons change. Right now I feel allergies are contributing to it.

If you can, try eating something hot(spicy) every day. If I eat something with chili peppers or wasabi or turmeric every day I have less pain. There is a temporary analgesic effect and I think there is a long term one as well.

I can't remember what normal used to be to reference it to how I feel. I did think it might be normal six months ago one afternoon, but then I looked into the sky and saw the usual visual interferance near the light.

I did....for a week on the beach in mexico in Feb. Complete freak occurance though.

I almost feel guilty saying I do feel normal. In fact sometimes, way better than normal. I get migraines 2-3 times a week though--do not feel as good on those days (on the tired side) unless I nipped the migraine instantly. I am lucky to have abortives that work. I wish everybody did.

Never normal.....various levels of pain every day as well as multiple other symptoms (photosensitivity, eyes hurt, hair hurts, ice pick or lightning strike pain, you name it).

I'm still waiting for a head transplant.

Ivy just hit on something which is also true with me. When I am feeling even better than normal I am almost always on the verge of a migraine.

Never! It's not a question of if I have a headache, it's how bad is it at any given time.

well i have had 6 pain free days in the last 30 all be it most days of pain have been low grade migraine, but have spent 3 days in bed in the last 30 as well, so normal is not something i have often anymore, but at least i am better than i was this time last year so i am thankful for small mercies.

I remember once when I had been swinging on a swing at the playground. I was around nine or ten years old. I fell out of the swing and hit my head quite hard on the packed dirt. It felt normal for about two days and then the pain went away for about an hour. Then it went back to normal again with a splitting migraine.

You see, normal for me is not pain free. Normal is lots of pain, all of the time.
