worst migraine in a while guys. I went completely blind in one eye, saw spots in the other. Got dizzy and disoriented. took fioricet, waited..did nothing. I tried the zomig doctor gave me after a while. worst ever ever. My heart raced out of my chest and I had such shallow breath and a very weak pulse. I couldn't get through to my new specialists on call doctor strangely enough to ask them what to do. by the time I did I noticed it got better and decided to wait it out. never taking that stupid stuff again.

I had to wait what felt like a million hours for the fioricet to wear off before i could take the stadol. I cant take the two together, it isn't good..bad bad reaction and easy overdose. I am feeling much better now but man, I still have disorientation and a lot of pain in my right side of my head. My eye particularly. I'll wait the two hours for another spray and go to bed. what a bad night. i hope this isn't this bad tomorrow. I really hate this stuff though, makes me get mad. Don't piss me off, I'll likely track you down and kill you. It helps though for emergencies, which is worth it I suppose.

I scared the cow poo out of my hubby tonight. I couldn't walk or talk right. It was worse than normal, I was pretty much blind and needed his assistance. I usually just sit where I am at the moment but that time I was on a higher unstable stool chair and needed to get down. he had to carry me, so I had to ask and that took at least 10 minutes to do.

think of me please and hope that tomorrow I am migraine free. hubs is working and I have g. I'd like to spend the day with her and not have to call anyone and search around for help, it is difficult to get someone to understand and also difficult to pack her up to go. thanks for the listen. Hope you all are feeling much better than i am this evening. Neutral

As Scarlett O'Hara taught us all - After all, tomorrow is another day.

Hope you are feeling better by now.

Poor you. Do hope you are feeling better today Smile

Zomig had dire effects on me too. It was as though someone had punched me in the chest, pinned me to the bed and I couldn't lift myself up. And it had no effect on the migraine. It was frightening and horrible and I never took it again.

Thinking of you.

thanks everyone, your well wishes helped!

i am exhaused out of my mind today from lack of good sleep, but 40 minutes after I took my fioricet my migraine is almost gone. Definitely better than last night. Less cognitive problems, too. Just fighting some head pain and exhaustion.

I won't have a problem taking care of g unless maybe falling asleep on the job, but dont let her cute looks fool ya...she comes up and slaps me in the face if I sleep longer than 5 minutes Laughing If i'm smart and hide under the throw blanket I may get lucky and get an extra 10 minutes of sleep without being malled, but she knows i'm tricking her so she just smacks me harder. hehe

You guys are the best! Hope everyone is having a great day today I love you

Oh, I'm so sorry.

Stadol is a VERY last resort for me. I am so hungover the next day, it's almost as bad as the M.

The vision loss and stumbling is the worse. I hate trying to find someone to drive me home, then having to retrieve my car later. Plus, it's just down right frightening.

Hugs to you.

I love you Charlotte

Oh, LG, how awful! I'm so sorry!!
The Zomig did that too you? That's just crazy. Tell that pain specialist to give you some different triptan samples. How scary.
I'm glad you feel better today. I wish I'd been online last night to send you hugs. I'm glad you feel better today, and I hope Gia lets you have an easy day. Smile

LOL Nathaniel does the same thing with waking people up, and he's 3 now, so Gia will probably do that for a while Very Happy My sister's always exhausted, and falls asleep easily. As soon as he sees her dozing off, he climbs up and smacks her and says, "wake up, momma!" until she does. He does the same thing to me if I fall asleep on the couch, just smacks me and says, "wake up, Bubbs!" Aren't toddlers great? It'd be annoying if it weren't so funny.
