I don't usually watch movies like that but I'm tempted after hearing all the rave reviews. But, sometimes you get over-hyped in your mind and it turns out to be a disappointment.

Plus, I have a tendency to flail the people sitting next me at a 3-D movie when I jump and try to hide under the seat for cover. Kind of embarrassing. Embarassed I did that way back in the '70's during JAWS when the guys head floated down. And that wasn't even 3-D!

We went for Frank's birthday. We saw it in 3-D at an Imax theater. It truly was amazing. I'm not normally as much of a sci fi fan as he is, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I imagine we'll be buying it when it comes out on DVD.

Charlotte,
my husband had to literally pull me into the movie theatre, I absolutely did not want to watch Avatar as I thought it was not the type of movies that I like Smile
Instead, I loved it I love you
