Aspirin shots KO migraines

Just read this in a magazine:

"Injections of aspirin can halt pounding migraines, according to research published in the American Academy of Neurology. A shot offers more relief for the intense type of headache, says study co-author Dr. Peter Goadsby of the University of California, San Francisco (haven't several Rondians seen him? Wasn't Richard going to?). About 66% of volunteers hospitalized for chronic migraines reported a decrease in pain after five doses of injected aspirin."

Wouldn't this be absolutely delightful if this worked!!!?!? Since the patients were hospitalized, they are hardcore sufferers like us.

Anyone heard about this?
