Risa,
Do you always read the Daily Mail.....LOL
Be careful, it means something in this country to be a Mail reader....it makes a statement.
The dogs, I know. They showed the pictures on the TV as well.
The Tiger doesn't look too unhappy, but the panda looks embarrassed I think.
What will people think of next??

I totally, totally think it is sooooo cute. Of course, you'd have to prove to me that it's not doing any harm to the animal...but still....I think it's cute!!!!

They did say when it was on TV that it is only vegetable dye.
Still think the tiger looks pretty chuffed, but not so Mr Panda.

I would have expected something like that to come out of Southern California and not China.

I'm with you, Milo. I want to be appalled for the critters dignity, but by golly they're adorable!

They really are cute.
I know the dye is available here in the States. We have a dog groomer on my flyball team and she offered to dye tails at an upcoming event. Just for fun.

Oh I am glad then I posted this !
lol no, I never read the Daily, never heard of it in fact, I was forwarded this by a friend that's how I know.
It's good to know it's only a vegetable dye- I was very worried about the skin and eye damage the dye could potentially cause.
Other that that, I agree it does look spectacular! especially the Pandas are adorable and life- like.
I don't think the dogs recognize at all they look any different - I don't think they have the ability to recognize the way of how they look quite the way we people do.
AS for the Panda looking miffed - well, they are chow chow, if you ask me they always look like they have issues with this or that, don't they, lol
