Noona,

Thanks for your comments on Scotland! I often think people just assume it's dull and grey and wet, but you are right, it is a great place, which I guess I take for granted. I'm further north than Edinburgh but I have visited and I love it. It has so much spirit. Everyone on the Royal Mile wants to stop and talk to you and seem to be having so much fun. I must go back sometime soon....

WHEN I get better I will be up to Scotland.
Hardly been at all, and my family went to Fife from Gateshead in the early 1900s, still there.

I could get a flight from here, but I just cant get a long enough break from the migraine to try YET.

I WILL DO IT.

You live in a lovely part of the British Isles.

I'm ½ Scottish (Dundee).....but sadly, have never been ;-(

My maternal grandparents emigrated to the US in the 1920s. So I am pure-bred on one side and a mutt on the other! (which means I am a mutt all the way through....I know).
