Surviving Springtime
The party is over.
The prolonged winter time has finally turned into a warm springtime and my head has begun to hurt daily.
In this period, I wake in the morning and my head starts to pound. I get a mild pain all around my head. I also feel some nausea, but nothing compared to what I feel during a real migraine attack.
I can work, I can perform my normal activities but my head is so heavy and throbbing. It improves only when it gets dark and the temperature drops down.
My normal abortive is not a good option in this period. It makes the pain go away, but the next day my head is sore again, so I risk to take strong stuff daily for a mild (but annoying) pain.
I take paracetamol once a day in the worst days and rub all types of oils and tiger balms at work (they seem to help somehow). As soon as I get home from work, I spent most of the time on the couch with ice packs on my head.
I look forward to weather forecast every day. I hope to read that a wave of cold and rain reaches us from Siberia, it can still happen in these weeks
Till the end of April, I will be knocked out. It happens every year. Then, in May the situation improves. Probably my body finally adjusts to warm temps.
I want to move to the North Pole and remain there for ever....
Have a nice day

Re: Surviving Springtime
I used to love thunderstorms and wild weather. I was a trained tornado spotter and would head out with excitement with my binoculars in hand.
No more. I dread the changes in the weather that spring brings.

Bleah on spring.. I don't know if it was the pollen or the air pressure that triggered this one, but once again, I woke up with my head splitting.
