90210 old & new

Thanks to the M's... I have discovered a new obsession...
90210.

I watched both seasons of the the new version within two weeks. (sounds crazy I know)
Now I'm hooked!!! Tomorrow's the season premiere!!!

I just wanted to know what is your take on the show????

My mom (I found out) used to watch the original version, so we had about 3 hours of talking about what's what, who's who, and such.
She told me Aaron Spelling wanted the show to be like a soap opera. And I feel like it is.
I was all, "do you who dylan is" My mom's all "yes!! what's going on with him"
and I don't know I think it's kind of cool we can go back in forth like that.


my whole family (aunts, uncles, parents, grandparents) all used to or still watch, I think General Hospital, so they can all relate to each other.
I never got into that, but with 90210, I felt a weird connection with my mom. It's not like "Hey mom do you know the lasted on the jonas brothers" It's different.

Oh, and I watched a few episodes of the original on fancast. And omg it is so much different, yet the same as the new version.

OMG...LOVED that one.STill catch episodes and HAVE to watch them.

Just started watching TRUE BLOOD Season 1. Gonna try to catch up before season 3 starts this season ...supposed to watch it weekly with a friend (I know ..Yikes..a weekly commitment )
