Midrin discontinued.

I was given the new stuff after my last emergency room visit. It wasn't anything great but wasn't bad either or I would remember. I think it was "OK".

It seems midrid is still available in the UK. It is the same as midrin but without the dichloralphenazone. Hopefully this won't go too as I find it quite helpful sometimes (but can't take it at the moment).

I was just recently given Epidrin (last week), instead of Midrin. The formulation seems to be the same, but as yet, I have not tried it. From the internet:

Epidrin

This combination medication is used to relieve tension and migraine headaches. Acetaminophen helps to decrease the pain from the headache. Isometheptene helps to narrow the widened blood vessels in the head. Headache pain can be caused by these widened blood vessels. Dichloralphenazone helps to relax the body.

I believe those are the same ingredients as Midrin.

Midrin has been discontinued from the Manufactures...but you can still get Midrin with a valid prescription. I get mine at Northbay Family Compounding Pharmacy (7074211117). Just have your doctor call them for the prescription and the pharmacy can mail the RX to your home. You'll just have to pay Cash On Delivery (COD). They are fair on the prices too compared to other places.
