Honk, Honk Empty Honk, Honk

Snapped these guys (or gals) in a pond. these pesky animals don't stay in place long enough for me. still need to play around with the features that speed up shutter to get better action shots. auto focus makes it a bit easier, but some other features can make the shots better.

Other than that, waiting for my doc's office to call. Found a new blockage in my left anterior decending artery (heart) which showed ischemia on my stress test.

Yeehaw....or honk!

Gorgeous PF! Those guys frighten me a little though. I was walking around our local park and got to close to one of their nest's. I didn't know this 50 year fat lady could run so fast up stairs! Plus, I was being a heck of lineman as I pushed my BIL out of my way and beat him up the stairs. Those critters can be mean Razz

Sorry sorry to hear about your latest findings. I hope it is resolved easily.

They are pretty from a distance but up close they are mean suckers! I hope the doctor has good news for you.

we have a huge abundance of geese here. they are giant. when i was a kid it was rare to see them. they have been here all-year for several years now.

you know things are different, or they have a really good source of food, when you see goslings in february.

gotta wait to hear from the docs. if this blockage is in the place i think it is, then it might be time for bypass. i have a strong feeling i'll end up in the cath lab sooner than later.

oh well. what are you going to do.

thanks for the compliments.

Frightfully good photos! Don't want to think of bypass....know you will measure and weigh all the pros and cons with the best guidance.

He or she (need to pull out the birdie book) came out decently. telephoto helps, but i was about 5 feet away.

The cardiac stuff, we'll see. Thanks for the support.

Is it a dump gull or a sea gull? LOL

Fingers firmly crossed for good news from your doc.

As always, wish there was something I could do (as I am sure everyone else here does, too).
