Generic for Zomig

As of May of last year (2013) there are now generics for Zomig: Zolmitriptan. I am going to get an Rx for it the next time I see my doctor. I have an insurance plan that has a $20 co-pay for generics, and I get generic Imitrex (Sumatriptan succinate) for about a buck a pill. I prefer Zomig though, as it does not make me fat-headed or make me as drowsy. It is not quite as effective for me to eradicate Migraines as Imitrex is, but I can function better on it. These generics are still ridiculously priced w/o a discount or insurance plan though. Generic Sumatriptan Succinate is $10 a pop at WalMart.
